The Cambridge Union
The Cambridge Chocolate Festival returns this year for a romantic, educational and possibly ‘debatable’ Valentine’s Weekend.
The 2023 Festival will be hosted in the famous Debating Chamber of the Cambridge Union Society. Founded in 1815, it is the oldest continuously running debating society in the world and is located in the heart of Cambridge city centre.
The Chocolate Festival itself will be presented in the Debating Chamber, where chocolate lovers can book 3 daily tours of the bean to bar chocolate making process with Anisa of Anisa and Chocolate starting with roasting, winnowing, cracking, grinding and finally the more familiar chocolate bars, truffles, and desserts, which leads us to the chocolate shops…
Make your way through the Festival Market where you can meet our sponsors, pick up a Valentines bouquet put together by Paula of PopUp Blooms, or if you prefer your plants potted, a gift from Janet of Small and Green. Amber B Pottery will also be there with Hot Chocolate Mugs and specially commissioned #CamChocoFest branded Hot Chocolate jugs. We have 5 featured artists stalls and among them will be our Logo Design Contest Winner which attendees will choose by ballot box over the course of the weekend.
