We are lucky to be joined by Jamie Klinger, co-founder of Reclaim These Streets, and Yeshim Harris, to discuss this sadly prevalent issue. Jamie Klinger: As co-founder of Reclaim These Streets, she was part of the group that successfully sued the Metropolitan Police for breaching her human rights after they banned a vigil for Sarah Everard. She was named ninth in PR Week UK’s list of top communicators in 2021. Yeshim Harris is a conflict management professional with special interest in experience-sharing between countries/regions through a gender focussed perspective. She is the Co-founder and Director of Engi and a member of the UK All Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues Secretariat. In this capacity, she regularly works with UK government departments on a number of conflict-related matters- looking into the dynamics of gender and violence.
