Baldwin Buckley 1965 Debate Screening In 1965 from the foor of the Union chamber two of the foremost American intellectuals tackled the question: ‘Has the American Dream been achieved at the expense of the American Negro?’ The debate has since gone down in history as a pivotal moment in civil rights discourse, and gives a remarkable insight into race in America.
